Don't throw it away: 3 creative ways to give your candle jars a second life

No lo tires: 3 formas creativas de dar una segunda vida a tus envases de velas

If your favorite soy candle is nearing its end, don't throw it in the glass recycling bin! Here's how to transform it into something new and functional in just a few steps.

The preliminary step: How to properly clean your container

Unlike paraffin, soy wax is water-soluble, which makes cleaning much easier:

  1. When there's only about 0.5 cm of wax left, pour hot (not boiling) water into the container.

  2. Wait for the remaining wax to melt and float. Once cool, the wax will solidify on the surface and you can easily remove it.

  3. Clean the inside with a little dish soap and warm water. Done! You now have a spotless glass or ceramic jar.

Idea 1: The succulent mini-garden (The eco-friendly touch)

Our candle containers are the perfect size for small plants that don't require much watering, such as succulents or cacti.

  • Artisan tip: Place a small layer of pebbles or gravel at the bottom before the soil to facilitate drainage. It will look beautiful on your desk or windowsill.

Idea 2: Stylish organization for your vanity

Tired of having makeup brushes, cotton pads, or hair clips scattered around the bathroom? Our clear glass or matte ceramic containers add a minimalist and elegant touch. They also work wonderfully on desks to organize pens or clips, keeping your workspace clutter-free.

Idea 3: An apothecary in your kitchen

If your candle came in a lidded jar, you have the ideal container for spices, seeds, or even for storing your favorite loose-leaf teas. Being high-quality containers, they perfectly preserve freshness and give a handcrafted and uniform look to your pantry.

Why is reusing better than recycling?

Although glass is recyclable, the process of melting it consumes a lot of energy. By reusing your container directly at home, you are reducing your carbon footprint and giving real value to conscious craftsmanship.

Our candles are not a "use and throw away" product; they are another piece of your decor that evolves with you.
